Newly signed Team member Liz Patterson (Tucson, AZ) made a nice debut wearing the ASICS kit by placing 2nd in the Women's High Jump. Fresh from her 2nd place finish at the NCAA Championships 2 weeks ago, Patterson cleared 6' 3 1/4", a new personal best.
In the Women's 1500m, Sara Hall (Mammoth Lakes, CA) finished in 9th place and Lauren Hagans (Nashville, TN) in 12th place running 4:17.87 and 4:25.03 respectively. Latosha Wallace (San Marcos, TX) finished 5th in her semi-final heat in the 400m and did not advance to tomorrow's final.
The last day of the competition will see Tora Harris in the High Jump, Norris Frederick in the Long Jump, Russ Winger in the Shot Put, April Steiner-Bennett in the Pole Vault, and Ryan Brown in the final of the 800m.

The 4-day National Championship concluded today at Drake Stadium marking an end to a very successful track meet for Team ASICS.
In the Men's High Jump, defending champion and 2009 World Championship Team Member Tora Harris (Chula Vista, CA) cleared 7' 5" (2.26m) on his last attempt to claim 2nd place. Harris and the winner cleared the same height but Harris was relegated to 2nd place due to more misses.
In other events, Russ Winger (Chula Vista, CA) put the shot 66' 6" (20.27m) for 6th place. 2009 World Championship Team Member Ryan Brown (Seattle, WA) finished in 8th place in the 800m running 1:54.63. In the Women's Pole Vault, 2008 Olympian April Steiner-Bennett (Phoenix, AZ) cleared 14' 1 1/4" (4.30m) earning her a tie for 9th place. Norris Frederick (Chula Vista, CA) leapt 5.61m in the Long Jump and did not advance to the final.
