Asics To market Hiking shoes In Europe

TOKYO (Nikkei)–Asics Corp. (7936) will start full-on asics shoes sales of hiking shoes throughout Europe as earlier as subsequent year.
The Kobe-based sporting products organization will provide asics running shoes set up in cooperation with Haglofs, a Swedish outside options maker obtained last year, and produced at Asics companion factories in Asia.

Haglofs’ hiking asics gel shoes business, centered on Scandinavia, brought in product sales of about 500 million yen in fiscal 2009. The organization will work with Asics to create higher-performance products.
